CURRENTLY PROVIDING VIDEO SESSIONS (also called telehealth or teletherapy) to all clients.
I received my Master's Degree in Dance/Movement Therapy & Counseling from Antioch University. I am a Licensed Mental Health Clinician in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire and I am a Registered Dance/Movement Therapist.
I enjoy blending traditional talk therapy, expressive arts, and movement therapy in my counseling sessions. Typically I begin therapy with traditional talk therapy and then at that point I am open to using any particular style depending on your preferred way of exploring and processing. I use a strengths-based and client-centered perspective and enjoy helping people identify barriers to reaching their goals. I have experience that includes, but is not limited to, working with adolescents and adults struggling with daily/life stressors, substance use/addiction, anxiety, depression, grief, and major life changes. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work in individual and group settings. One of my goals is to help people harness their inner strength, courage, and find joy in their lives because I believe that every person has a unique and special gift they bring to the world and I believe that everyone deserves to have joy in their life.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love spending time with my dog, my cats, playing the trumpet in a community band, attending live music events, hula hoop dancing and flow wanding!
