Clinician - Remote

Mindful Balance Therapy Center PLLC currently has an opening in our small, outpatient group practice for a Clinician. We are searching for a therapist with a strengths-based philosophy that is holistic in their approach, compassionate in their care with all clients, motivated, and detail-oriented. All services are being provided via telehealth at this time, with the potential for long-term remote work.

Clinicians often apply here who have worked long-term at larger, institutional settings and mental health centers. If you have worked in settings that require carrying large caseloads, not being compensated when clients don't show up to their appointments, excessive documentation requirements, and/or required formulaic approaches to therapy vs being allowed the freedom to integrate approaches you are most passionate about, then you may enjoy shifting these areas of your life by joining our team. With a competitive salary (including compensation for clients' missed appointments), the ability to create a flexible schedule, encouragement to weave interventions into your practice that you are passionate about, and a full time Office Manager to handle billing tasks and most administrative work, we offer the advantages of private practice without the hassle of having to be a billing and marketing specialist.

The right candidate will:

  • Be an excellent fit within our work culture, which is of the utmost importance to us

  • Be collaborative in their approach to care, both within the group and by working collaboratively with other providers in the community

  • Have excellent communication, time management and conflict resolution skills

  • Be very well organized, consistently completing all administrative tasks on time

  • Be inherently compassionate and supportive

Preferred skills/experience:

  • Former supervisory/management experience is preferred, but we will provide training to the right candidate who is motivated to grow their career within the company.

  • A NH mental health license issued by the NH Board of Mental Health, as well as out of state licenses (especially MA and VT)

We provide:

  • A supportive environment that encourages openness in communication

  • Weekly peer supervision meetings that begin with a period of silent meditation and then shift to topics such as case collaboration, client care, self of the therapist work, and self care

  • The opportunity for a positive work/life balance due to flexible scheduling, encouraging therapists to invest in their own self care and explore their personal passions in their off time

  • Administrative support that allows for the flexibility of a private practice, without the administrative burdens. We complete all insurance credentialing and contracting on your behalf and manage all claims processing

  • A steady stream of referrals (with a surplus of referrals for over 10 years)

  • Reimbursement for professional development

Employee pay is fee for service with a competitive salary.

A MA degree or higher is required. A pre-licensed candidate will be considered if the applicant has identified an Approved Supervisor and is close to their licensure date. Interested applicants, please send a cover letter and resume to info@mindfulbalancetherapy.com.  Please indicate your NH licensure status.
