CURRENTLY PROVIDING VIDEO SESSIONS (also called telehealth or teletherapy) to all clients.
I received my Master’s Degree in Dance/Movement Therapy and Counseling from Antioch University New England in 2013. I am both a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a Board Certified Dance/Movement Therapist.
I enjoy helping people come to a greater understanding of their own strengths and worth, as well as helping people identify and develop coping skills to help get through difficult times. I am a strong believer in a strengths-based and integrated approach to help people identify what they want to work on and move forward in their lives. I have worked with many issues, including, but not limited to, stress of daily life or major changes, loss, depressive and anxious symptoms, and trauma history. I have been honored to work with people of all ages and abilities, in both individual and group settings. I have a passion helping those with intellectual and physical disabilities, including serving those in the deaf community as I am fluent in American Sign Language. I truly believe that movement, as well as being heard in a safe environment, is very healing.
Outside of work, I love dance and art in many forms. I believe these give more meaning and hope to our lives. I am fascinated and want to learn about all the world has to offer, big and small. I also love spending time with family, friends, and animals.
